About UsAbout the Role
  • Provide portfolio analysis, industry insights, and distribution propositions to support strategy formulation across key segments-Commercial Real Estate, Agribusiness, and Commercial.
  • Drive delivery of business lending initiatives, including channel enablement, policy and process improvements, and enhancements to models, scorecards, and origination quality.
  • Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to track and optimise the risk-return profile of the business lending portfolio.
  • Prepare and present regular and ad-hoc analysis and materials for submissions to governance forums such as BBRC, BCRC, and the Unregulated Lending QA Forum.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the organisation by providing actionable insights and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a proactive risk and compliance culture by working within the Bank's Risk Appetite, identifying and mitigating emerging risks, and ensuring robust operational controls are in place and effective.
What will you bring?
  • Prior experience in a business banking environment, with proven expertise in strategic thinking, planning, and analytical roles.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and regulations relevant to the banking industry, with the ability to apply this knowledge to business lending scenarios.
  • Strong analytical acumen, with the ability to develop and implement complex credit risk strategies and present findings through clear and concise reports.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships, influence stakeholders, and navigate business challenges effectively.
