Manager - Performance and Reward
We are seeking a strategic and people first Performance & Reward Manager to elevate how we recognise, reward and retain talent. This is your chance to influence enterprise wide frameworks, partner with senior leaders, and drive initiatives that align with our values and long-term strategy
About the job
At HCF, we put people first members and our teams. As Performance & Reward Manager, you will maintain and embed fit‑for‑purpose remuneration and benefits frameworks aligned to our strategy and People & Culture initiatives; provide practical advice to P&C partners on divisional needs; and manage the impacts of legislative and prudential changes, including CPS 511, through clear policies and procedures. You will lead the annual performance and remuneration cycle with senior leaders, prepare analysis and recommendations for Board and Remuneration Committee papers, and deliver insights that are simple and timely. You will embed HCF's job architecture by designing training, upskilling BPs and Talent Acquisition, maintaining job evaluation methodology and guiding salary benchmarking. You will strengthen our recognition culture and evolve values aligned programs such as HCF Heroes, partner closely with Finance, Payroll and Strategy to land initiatives that support our EVP, and contribute to HCF's 2030 strategic agenda and beyond by ensuring we remain competitive with market practice. You will lead a small specialist team coaching, setting direction and managing end‑to‑end performance.
About you
Solutions‑focused and curious, with deep remuneration and benefits expertise in financial/insurance contexts and strong regulatory awareness
A clear, human communicator who can influence and explain complex concepts to senior leaders
Comfortable with ambiguity—prioritising quickly and designing simple solutions to complex problems
Experienced in job evaluation (Korn Ferry/Hay/Aon/Radford) and market benchmarking
