This is a new opportunity within FRV's Operational Training department for an LMS Implementation expert to join the team in delivering our next phase of Learning Management System (LMS) project.

About the Role

Under the strategic direction of the Manager, Strategic Projects and Training Development Leadership Team, this role leads the planning, coordination, and execution of key project deliverables including pilot testing, end-user training, doctrine development, and the structured transition to operational ownership.

The role will require the ability to navigate the complexities of operational training where requirements, processes, and outputs may vary significantly across programs.

The LMS Implementation Lead supports both accredited qualifications and internal FRV outputs, making it critical that the system, processes, and documentation are aligned to a range of compliance and operational needs.

This position also holds responsibility for developing a prioritised plan for Phase 4 of the LMS project, outlining the potential LMS expansion to other Operational Training functions and FRV business areas.

The role will require a high degree of initiative, coordination, and ability to manage cross-functional tasks in a dynamic, compliance-driven environment.

About you

The successful candidate, you will possess the following:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business administration, learning and development, project management, or a related field, or demonstrated relevant experience (required).
  • Project management training or certification (desirable).
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and system implementation methodologies (preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience managing system or process implementation where programs have varying structures, delivery models, or compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, deliver key project milestones, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience consulting with diverse stakeholder groups and adjusting approach to suit varying training and system needs.
  • Familiarity with vocational education, training systems, or LMS in public sector or emergency services environments (will be highly regarded).
