Perth, Western Australia SMS Group Services Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning yard works in a safe, efficient, and effective manner including daily pre-starts & de-brief.
  • Procuring and sourcing materials, consumables, and equipment in compliance with SMS processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate and supervise the accurate pick, dispatch and return of orders in accordance with site and company requirements and cross-check counts
  • Harmonize yard management processes with SMS operations, contracts, and accounts functions.
  • Control, plan and assist with all scaffold/inventory stock movements in and out of the branch with strict measures adhered to, guaranteeing compliance with company procedures (including stock takes).
  • Operate forklift and load trucks in accordance with permissible load capacity.
  • Effectively manage all site-based requirements in consultation with administration, recruitment team and supervisors.

Mandatory skills or licensing requirements:

  • Driver's Licence
  • Forklift Licence
  • Proof of Right to work in Australia.
  • Completed a minimum of 5 years of scaffold supervision experience (Construction or maintenance).
  • Advanced scaffolder to Australian standard.
  • Knowledge and understanding of AS/NZS Scaffolding Standards and Safety procedures.
  • Project planning experience with job costing and project finance.
