About the role

Altrad is seeking experienced Advanced Scaffolders to support the Rio Tinto Tom Price Phase III Structural Remediation Project.

Hold an Advanced Scaffolder ticket with 2–3+ years' experience in heavy industrial environments, skilled in scaffold erection and dismantling, and with the ability to assist with planning when required.

Leveraging your advanced scaffolding skills, you'll ensure all scaffold works are completed safely, to specification, and in compliance with Australian Standards.

Working closely with subject matter experts, Altrad is committed to your future.

  • Commencement: 1st December, with further mobilisations scheduled from 4th January

  • Roster: 5:2 (December), transitioning to 2:2 from January onward

  • Client: World-leading Metals & Mining company with sites throughout the Pilbara region

  • Employment Type: Casual, with rates ranging between $59 – $64 per hour

  • Point of Hire: Perth (FIFO)

  • Hours: 12-hour shifts

Who do we want to hear from?

  • Hold Nationally Accredited qualifications including:

  • High Risk Work License - Scaffolding Advanced

  • Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, Gas Test Atmospheres and Demonstrate Fire Attack (2 year expiry)

  • Work safely in the construction industry (white/blue card)

  • Ability to successfully complete an Advanced Scaffolding Verification of Competency

  • Rio Tinto Inducted (desirable)

  • Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
