JLegal has partnered with a boutique law firm headquartered in Melbourne to secure a talented Lawyer to join their growing team. The firm is redefining the delivery of legal services through innovation, integrity, and client-focused outcomes. With a strong practice mix – approximately 35% litigation, 25–30% commercial law, and the remaining spread across succession planning, property, and wills & estates – this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic practice where mentorship and career progression are actively supported.
The Role
In this role, you will:
- Provide advice across Commercial, Corporate, and Property Law matters
- Draft and negotiate contracts, manage disputes, and advise on legal and commercial risks
- Conduct legal research and stay current with developments in relevant areas
- Work closely with clients to deliver practical and tailored solutions
- Embrace innovative strategies and integrated technology to deliver efficient, high-value outcomes
Key Requirements
- Bachelor of Law with current Victorian practising certificate
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience (boutique, mid-tier, or in-house advisory)
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong commercial acumen
- Familiarity with LEAP and LexisNexis is desirable
