Operator

ARC is looking for a new team member to join our Wollongong branch as an Operator where you will be operating machinery to shape & cut reinforcing bar.

You'll become part of a small yet high-performing team where your responsibilities will include achieving KPIs and fostering a safety-first culture. Being a part of ARC provides a valuable chance to acquire hands-on experience in steel processing, pre-fabrication, and distribution. This is an Afternoon shift role and the working hours are Monday to Friday – 1:50pm – 9:30pm.

As a key member of the team you will:

• Operate machinery to shape and cut reinforcing bar and mesh
• Operate an overhead crane
• Accurately pick and pack orders
• Load and unload trucks for customers or our drivers
• Move truck inside and outside of warehouse 
• Promote and contribute to a safe workplace

• A willingness to learn new skills and have a can-do attitude

• Prior experience operating machinery 
• Overhead crane experience is preferred but not essential
• HR Truck License is preferred
