Join Cummins Tamworth as a Field Service Technician supporting over 170 high-horsepower engines powering mining operations in the Gunnedah Basin. This is your chance to work with leading OEMs and world-class equipment on-site, backed by a global company that invests in your future.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Work on critical mining projects and be the point of contact at customer sites
- First responder to breakdown events and fault diagnostics
- Fleet maintenance
- Diverse range of engine repairs, both major and minor
- Work with other major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) such as Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr. Etc.

- OTE potential $160K+ incl. base, site allowance, shift, OT + Super + Tool of Trade

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Field service experience preferred coupled with heavy duty engine experience
- Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Diesel, Plant Mechanic Preferred)
- Strong engine diagnostic experience
- The ability to work autonomously/remotely for extended periods
- A genuine commitment to workplace safety
- A valid driver's license
- Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
