Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to assist with an electrical upgrade and UPS installation in our Data Closet (MDF). The role will involve upgrading the circuit and installing new outlet receptacles to support new UPS and PDU systems. You will be working closely with field engineers during the cutover process.

Responsibilities

  • Upgrade and prepare electrical circuits for UPS installation.
  • Install new outlet receptacles as required.
  • Coordinate with IT/Field Engineers during UPS and PDU setup.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations.
  • Verify power stability and functionality once installation is complete.

Requirements

  • Valid electrical license (required).
  • Proven experience with commercial or data center electrical work.
  • Familiarity with UPS systems and power distribution units (PDUs).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work safely and follow compliance standards.
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with site teams.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to safely lift and handle electrical equipment (up to 40kg with assistance).
  • Adherence to product handling guidelines and site safety protocols.

Pay: $34.98 – $67.54 per hour
