About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Neuro Nurse Advisor & Educator to provide clinical leadership, education, and support within our nursing program. This is a unique opportunity to combine direct client engagement with leadership and education deliverables.

This role is 3 days per week (0.6 FTE), with a requirement to work outside of hours / days from time to time for education, leadership and client engagement expectations.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide evidence-based, person-centred advice and support to people affected by neurological conditions through face-to-face, phone and online consultations.
  • Lead, mentor and supervise a small team of Nurse Advisors.
  • Deliver education and training programs for clients, families, internal staff, and health professionals.
  • Undertake outreach and engagement activities with other health professionals.
  • Innovate and tailor approaches to meet the needs of people with complex circumstances and barriers to care.

About You

You are a compassionate and skilled nurse leader with a passion for education and empowerment. You thrive in client-facing roles and bring strong neurological clinical expertise, innovation and a collaborative approach.

You will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in neurology (mandatory), chronic disease, community health, or related fields
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including staff supervision
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with experience in delivering education
  • Ability to work flexibly and responsively with clients who may have complex needs
  • Confidence in using technology (e.g. MS Teams) to deliver services and education
