Chef – Day Shift (Mon–Thu) | Casual

Location: Molendinar, QLD | Hours: Monday–Thursday, no nights or weekends | Start: ASAP

Ahara Group is seeking a passionate, down-to-earth Chef to join our growing ready-meal production team. If you love clean execution, team play, and finishing early to enjoy your afternoons, this one's for you.

What you'll do
  • Prepare and cook a high-quality, consistent menu in a production kitchen (batch cooking, portioning, plating standards)
  • Follow SOPs, recipes, and specs; complete CCP/temperature logs; uphold food safety & hygiene at all times
  • Work across bratt pans, combi ovens, steamers and other production equipment
  • Assist with new recipe trials and continuous improvement
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and audit-ready
  • Contribute positively to a team-first, on-time, on-quality environment
What we're looking for
  • Proven experience as a Chef (production or high-volume environment ideal)
  • Formal culinary training or equivalent on-the-job experience
  • Strong knowledge of food safety/HACCP and hygiene (certs a plus)
  • Excellent time management, consistency, and attention to detail
  • Team player with a reliable, professional attitude
