About the Opportunity Do you have dreams of becoming a qualified chef? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Chef to join our talent team of chefs in a professional and large resort environment.
This could be just the right role for you?   As a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Chef, you will continue your culinary journey and be guided by our skilled and experienced chefs, learning hygienic & safe work practices, food handling, food preparation, knife skills and methods of cookery.
You will gain valuable knowledge and experience across various sections of our multi-outlet kitchens, including the main production kitchen.
What you'll need to be successful Full availability and flexibility to work various shifts a 7 day rotating, including evenings, weekends & public holidays Passion and enthusiasm for cooking & developing your culinary skills Reliability and commitment to completing a certificate 3 cookery qualification Clear communication skills and work well in a team environment Demonstrate a willingness to learn, can follow direction, show attention to detail & take pride in work Excellent grooming, hygiene and presentation We are Offering Permanent Full-time 38 hours week Apprenticeship wage Support to complete a nationally recognised qualification On the job training & supervision provided by qualified chefs Off the job RTO training + training plan maintained Employee of the month awards & recognition + healthy team culture Laundered uniform Complimentary parking onsite The RACV difference Be part of a team who cares.
