About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of Australia's largest health system by joining the statewide NSW Health Deployment Program in the Central Resource Unit (CRU).

We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to provide clinical governance, leadership and expertise within occupational therapy services including the provision of safe, timely, compassionate, and high-quality person-centred care.

Where you'll be working

The Senior Occupational Therapist workforce will be deployed to locations across NSW Health from anywhere between two to 13 weeks to support short-term staffing needs. You will have the flexibility to work for short periods of time, with the opportunity to stay longer and work across a variety of health settings when on deployment.

Targeted Questions:

• Current Occupational Therapy registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
• Provide examples of advanced clinical skills and experience in the provision of occupational therapy services within relevant clinical areas and settings.
• Tell us about your experience in the identification of evidence-based practice and/or development of treatment protocols.
• Provide examples of your experience in the provision of clinical supervision and mentoring of staff and/or students.
• Current drivers' licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional / remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.
