We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ABAP Developer with experience in Adobe Forms development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex SAP solutions as well as developing digital forms using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Forms. You will play a crucial role in digitizing and automating business processes, ensuring seamless data flow and an intuitive user interface.

Key Responsibilities

  • SAP ABAP development including S/4 HANA
  • Design, develop, and implement interactive and dynamic Adobe Forms (XFA and Adaptive Forms) within the AEM Forms environment.
  • Integrate AEM Forms with SAP systems (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA) for data retrieval, submission, and workflow initiation using various integration methods (e.g., Web Services, RFCs, OData).
  • Develop and implement custom JavaScript to enhance form functionality, validation, calculations, and user experience.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and reliability of developed forms.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Adobe Forms, AEM Forms environment.
  • Optimize form performance and ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and accessibility guidelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed forms, integrations, and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest features and functionalities of Adobe Experience Manager Forms, SAP technologies, and JavaScript advancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive ABAP consulting experience
  • Experience developing and implementing Adobe Forms (XFA and/or Adaptive Forms).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript for client-side and server-side form logic, including knowledge of DOM manipulation, AJAX, and event handling.
  • Experience with XML and XSD for data modeling and form design.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
