About the Role
As a Cleaner at Gordonvale State High School, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. Reporting to the Principal or a nominated delegate, you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the school by delivering high-quality cleaning services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices, and common areas, including windows, furniture, and equipment.
- Maintaining toilet facilities, sick bays, and other hygiene-sensitive areas.
- Performing floor maintenance, including sweeping, vacuuming, buffing, and polishing.
- Managing rubbish disposal, graffiti removal, and general upkeep of outdoor areas.
- Ensuring security by locking/unlocking buildings and managing security systems as required.
This role would suit a reliable and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment for others.
