The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to contribute to
impactful autism research within CliniKids at The Kids Research Institute.
Working collaboratively within the Autism Research Team, the Research Assistant
will support the delivery of high-quality research, ensuring compliance with
Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and contributing to meaningful outcomes
for children and families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering assessments (face-to-face and via questionnaires).
  • Assisting with data collection, data entry and data analysis.
  • Coordinating participant recruitment and retention.
  • Conducting background research and literature reviews.
  • Supporting ethics and governance processes.
  • Contributing to research outputs including papers, reports, presentations.
  • Providing administrative support, stakeholder communication and meeting coordination

Based at Subiaco and Edgewater, this is a full-time
role for a period of 2 years.

About You

You will bring a proactive, organised and
collaborative approach, along with:

  • Qualifications or experience in allied health, public health, health promotion or a related discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and confidence building relationships.
  • Experience working directly with children and families.
  • (Desirable) Ability to administer psychometric assessments.
