The Opportunity
At the Kids Research Institute Australia, we have a passion to

The Penicillin Team is looking for a proactive, highly motivated, casual
research assistant, with strong attention to details and wanting to work in a
cohesive, friendly team. As a casual role, with flexibility on working days,
this would suit someone doing further study.
Your responsibilities will span data entry, research coordination, assistance
with scientific research writing and analysis, plus administrative support
across the broader program.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Develop and maintain project database(s) and accurate data management.
- Contribute to the preparation of study documents and project materials.
- Assist with project administration such as meeting coordination, procurement, reporting and stakeholder communication.
- Support literature reviews, data searches and data extraction.
- Provide support to additional Strep A & ARF Therapeutics research projects as required.
Based at our offices in Nedlands, this is a casual position for a
period of 12 months.
About You
This is a challenging and rewarding role supporting
a variety of projects within the team.
To be successful in this role you need to have a bachelor's degree in a
biomedical/health science related field, or demonstrated experience in
research, medical, or allied health setting, and will bring the following:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of REDCap.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills in order to prioritise and meet competing deadlines.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong computer, organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
