Job Title: Senior Change Manager - Cyber Security

  • Contract: ASAP - 30th June 2026
  • Daily Rate: $800-$1078 per day + super
  • Location: Sydney CBD + WFH
  • NSW Government

About the Role:

This NSW Government organisation is seeking a Senior Change Manger to support a Cyber uplift Program. You will join a fast-paced transformation program delivering specific cyber initiatives including Essential 8 Maturity and Threat Detection software, as well as lead the development of a new roadmap and requirements. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the development of change strategies, approaches and tactical plans across a Portfolio or multiple Programs of work across the organisation
  • Oversee, ensure, and enable the appropriate and consistent application of the icare change management approach and its associated tools.
  • Lead the development of actionable and targeted change management plans including stakeholder analysis, change impacts, resistance management plans and change readiness assessments, ensuring information is presented in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Provide information and advice to key stakeholders to keep them up to date with progress, issues and developments, providing appropriate briefings to enable informed decision making regarding the planned approach.
  • Apply knowledge of relevant change management practices and business unit strategies, policies, practices, and standards to assist, organise, and prioritise initiatives and programs, using judgment to solve problems and address challenges.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience with technology change projects, ideally cyber security
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated strength in project managing challenging interdependent programs and initiatives with multiple, invested stakeholders.
  • Insurance and government background highly recommended
