Job Title: Personal Carer / Companion

Location: Belfield, NSW

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 3:30pm

About the Role:

We are seeking a caring and reliable carer to support an 87-year-old gentleman in his home. The role involves assisting with day-to-day living, providing companionship, preparing meals, and keeping the home tidy.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve daily meals and snacks
  • Light household cleaning (kitchen, living spaces, laundry as needed)
  • Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
  • Assist with daily routines and encourage gentle activities or outings (as appropriate)
  • Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns to family members

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in aged care, disability care, or similar support role (preferred)
  • Kind, patient, and respectful approach
  • Reliable and punctual with good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Police Check or NDIS Worker Check (or willing to obtain)
  • First Aid/CPR certification (desirable)
