EXPERIENCED AGED & DISABILITY CARER WANTED

At Campsie Home Care Pty Ltd, we provide trusted home care support with personalised care, clear communication, and a reliable local team. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Aged and Disabled Carer to join our team.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with each client to understand their individual needs, preferences, and goals, empowering them to live more independently and enjoy a fulfilling life. Your empathy, patience, and professionalism will be essential in delivering high-quality care that meets industry standards and best practices.

Salary Range: $73,000 - $80,000 (plus superannuation)

Key responsibilities for this position include:

· Provide personal care and emotional support to elderly and disabled clients, including assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing in their homes.

· Prepare and serve meals, including support with special dietary needs where required.

· Perform domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.

· Encourage client independence and social engagement through companionship and participation in daily or recreational activities.

· Assist clients with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment and safe manual-handling techniques.

· Observe and report any changes in clients' health, behaviour, or condition, and escalate care concerns or complaints as needed.

· Participate in planning, reviewing, and implementing individual care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.

· Communicate actively and professionally with team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

Working Hours:

· Full-time position, 38 hours per week.

Maintain accurate records and foster positive relationships with clients, families, and the wider care team to ensure person-centred, holistic care. The position Requires

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a similar role or work environment.

l At least a relevant AQF Certificate III or equivalent or higher-level qualification or at least one year of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 4)

l 12 months full-time or equivalent part-time (at least 20 hours per week) or casual basis employment with proven experience is required in Aged / Disability Care Services.

l Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

l Highly organized and efficient
