The Perth office of global firm Squire Patton Boggs is seeking an experienced, senior Labour & Employment lawyer to take the next step in their career and lead the Perth employment practice. Ambition for partnership would be highly regarded, but career Special Counsel applicants are also encouraged.
Given our strong collaborative culture you will enjoy lots of support working closely with the Perth partnership, as well as our Sydney L&E team and our wider global L&E teams. Collaboration is key, so we are seeking a team player, who is hardworking, down to earth, and adopts an inclusive work style.
We are looking for someone with a passion for, and at
least 8-10 years
experience in, employment and WHS law. The role will mainly involve a mix of advisory and litigation work, with some corporate support work. Recent private practice experience is essential, but past experience in house, or experience within the courts/commissions, employer associations or government, would also be valued. Our clients include both Australian and multinational organisations, including FTSE100 and Fortune 100 companies.
In addition, you will be self-motivated, have a high level of attention to detail, be commercially savvy, a strong communicator, have strong client relationship skills and display technical excellence.
