This is a fantastic and exciting opportunity to join our newly re-established Perth office in our high-performing national Banking and Finance team.

We have opportunities for lawyers at all levels and paralegals to join our highly regarded Banking and Finance team. Ideally you will be passionate about client service and be looking to further your career in a successful and high-performing national team. You are keen to put your strong legal skills to the fore alongside like-minded professionals.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualities:

• An ability to communicate effectively and professionally (written and verbal).
• Be a team player who relishes the opportunity to develop your career and use your initiative.
• Have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders.
• A demonstrated skillset to manage timeframes and proactively manage priorities within a team.

The number of year's PQE experience required at each level is:

• Special Counsel – 9+
• Senior Associate – 5+
• Associate – 3+
• Lawyer – 1+

Your role

You will be entrusted with responsibility early on. In this role, the type of work will include:

• Acting for major banks, funds, corporates, non-bank lenders and private credit clients undertaking front-end lending.
• Providing expert legal counsel on high-value commercial deals, with the autonomy to cultivate and grow your own client relationships.
• In the more senior roles, providing hands-on guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and confidence.
• Providing clear, commercial advice to leading institutions and corporates.
• Drafting, proofing and formatting finance documents.
• Handling correspondence and deadlines.
• Coordinating with clients, counsel and external stakeholders.
