We're now expanding our internal content and production capability, and we're looking for a curious, creative, and driven Graduate Journalist to join our growing team. You'll help shape the voice of TCN through compelling stories, articles, interviews, and multimedia content that capture how people everywhere are navigating the world of work.

What you'll do
Working closely with the Lead Video Producer and the Head of Platform and Marketing, you will:
- Research, pitch, and write engaging articles, interviews, and scripts for video, podcast, and written content.
- Conduct interviews both in person and remotely to capture authentic stories and insights from individuals across different industries and backgrounds.
- Assist in planning and conducting interviews with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds including everyday people, students, employers, and industry experts.
- Support the production of multimedia content by preparing scripts, outlines, and supporting information for filming and recording.
- Collaborate with the video and marketing teams to ensure stories are accurate, consistent in tone, and aligned to TCN's brand and purpose.
- Help capture authentic stories that reflect real experiences, emerging career trends, and inspiring insights.
- Assist with editing, proofreading, and preparation of materials for publication across TCN's platform, app and digital channels.
- Use data and audience insights to refine story ideas, understand what resonates, and tailor content for engagement.
- Contribute occasionally to marketing and promotional content, such as newsletters, platform updates, and campaign messaging, where journalistic storytelling adds value.
About you
You are a natural storyteller who loves uncovering new perspectives and crafting them into clear, engaging stories. You're curious about people, quick to learn, and ready to grow your skills across multiple content formats. You'll bring:
- A degree in journalism, media, communications, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- A passion for human stories that connect with diverse audiences.
- Ability to research, interview, and write clearly and concisely.
- Interest in video and podcast storytelling, with a willingness to learn production processes.
- Curiosity about the changing world of work and education.
- Proactive attitude, strong organisational skills, and eagerness to grow in a creative, fast paced team.
