About the role

Bayside Counselling and Consultation Pty Ltd is seeking a passionate Psychologist to join our team in Wheelers Hill, VIC. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing high-quality, evidence-based psychological assessment and counselling services to children, adults, and families
  2. Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client
  3. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care
  4. Maintaining detailed client records and adhering to professional and ethical standards
  5. Participating in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field

What we're looking for

  1. Registered Psychologist with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  2. Demonstrated expertise in delivering evidence-based psychological interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, trauma-focused therapy, play therapy and family counselling
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage with clients from diverse backgrounds
  4. Excellent clinical reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  5. Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to contribute to the growth and development of the practice
  6. Eligible to apply as a Medicare provider
  7. Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
