Your new role:

As the Senior Clinical Leader for Cellular Therapy Laboratory Services, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate a team of Medical Laboratory Scientists and Technicians to deliver specialised clinical services within the Haematology Department.
  • Manage operational activities including workforce planning, staff performance, and rostering to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Provide advanced clinical expertise in cellular therapies such as autologous stem cell transplants and CAR T-cell treatments, driving innovation and service improvements.
  • Foster a patient-centred culture emphasizing safe, compassionate, and holistic care.

About you:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in medical laboratory science with relevant laboratory experience and professional registration.
  • Advanced clinical knowledge and independence in delivering cellular therapy laboratory services.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage teams, workforce planning, and staff development.
  • Strong skills in clinical governance, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
