This is a unique opportunity for a new graduate Occupational Therapist to begin their career in a structured, supportive hospital environment, gaining invaluable clinical experience through supervised rotations across acute and subacute services.
- Deliver entry-level Occupational Therapy services within a multidisciplinary team at the Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH), supporting Queensland Health stakeholders and consumers.
- Undertake two six-month clinical rotations across acute and subacute services, applying theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.
- Participate in clinical supervision, team collaboration, and consumer-centred care while developing your skills in assessment, intervention, documentation, and service delivery.
Are you a new graduate Occupational Therapist ready to start your career in a supportive hospital environment? We're looking for someone who cares about helping patients and working well with others.
- You will have graduated with a degree in Occupational Therapy within the last two years and are registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- You can provide basic, evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments and treatments.
- You communicate clearly and work well in a team to support patients and their families.
- You are eager to learn, grow your skills, and help improve services.
- You must provide proof of your qualifications, registration, and vaccinations before starting.
- You're willing to work some weekends and be flexible across different hospital areas.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.
We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialled in a safe clinical environment.
We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
