Your new role:
As a Physiotherapist at Princess Alexandra Hospital, you will provide high-quality clinical care through detailed assessment, therapeutic intervention, and patient education. You'll work within an interprofessional team to deliver evidence-based treatment and support patient-centered discharge planning. This role includes supervising therapy assistants and students, contributing to clinical education, and engaging in quality improvement and research initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and interventions under clinical supervision.
- Manage your caseload effectively using prioritization and time management skills.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with patients, families, and carers.
About you:
We are looking for a motivated and patient-focused Physiotherapist with a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and teamwork. You should be eager to develop your clinical skills while contributing to education and service enhancement.
- Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Experience or willingness to supervise students and therapy assistants.
- Flexibility to participate in weekend and remote call services as required.

We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility.
We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
