Your new company

This well-established metalwork contractor has secured ongoing work across Canberra and is expanding its team. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fabrication and installation services, they operate both on-site and from a fully equipped workshop.

Your new role

This role involves structural and custom metalwork fabrication, welding, and installation across various commercial and industrial projects. You'll be working either in the factory or on-site depending on project needs. Tasks include MIG/TIG welding, reading drawings, and assisting with fitting and assembly.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • Trade qualification in Boilermaking or Fabrication
  • Experience in structural steel and/or custom metalwork
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • White Card
  • Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness tickets
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
