About the Role

Veraspec is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. In this full-time position, you will play a key role in overseeing our day-to-day operations — ensuring our projects, production, and client services run efficiently and meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Australian work rights are required for this position.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of production, logistics, and customer service teams.
  • Oversee operational performance across multiple projects and departments, managing teams of 20–50 people.
  • Drive process improvements and implement new systems and technologies to enhance workflow.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational or production challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry standards, safety regulations, and internal policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.

About You
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in an operations management role within a construction, manufacturing, or glazing-related industry.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple operational areas, including production, logistics, and customer service.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, or operations management (highly regarded).
