We're on the hunt for an SEO & Content Manager to steer Fusion's organic growth machine from top to tail. You'll be the mastermind behind the strategy, calendar, and briefs for SEO, answer-engine optimisation (AEO/LLM), and all things content across our site, socials, and video. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll have juniors and contractors to keep things moving, though we'll still rope you in to craft the occasional high-impact piece or package that only you can master

It's a hands-on owner/manager role: you'll design the system, run the ops, and prove the impact

What you will own...

Organic strategy & editorial system

  • Own the editorial calendar & briefs across web, video and social.
  • Map topic clusters, entity/keyword coverage, internal-link architecture and cadence.
  • Maintain the Content Ops kit (brief templates, style guide, schema standards, refresh/deprecate policy, approvals log).

AEO/LLM visibility

  • Build a forward-thinking AEO strategy that improves presence.
  • Run a monthly AEO audit on a fixed query/entity basket; log wins/losses and actions.

SEO (on-site & technical)

  • Set IA, internal linking, CWV priorities, hreflang, sitemaps/robots, index hygiene, schema coverage; with the assistance of our dev team.
  • Work with other team members and agencies to own technical and off-site strategy (backlinks, earned PR). They execute; you own outcomes.

CRO & measurement

  • Maintain a CRO backlog for editorial & landing pages (titles, hooks, CTAs, layouts).
  • Report regularly on organic business impact such as direct attribution, non-brand sessions, SERP feature wins, AEO audit score, schema coverage %, CWV pass rate, index health, authority (quality referring domains), and social-to-site contribution.

Compliance, community & brand

  • Run documented "brief to publication" compliance processes.
  • Own community playbooks (review responses/online crisis comms) and brand monitoring.

What we are looking for…

  • Organic growth expertise with 3–6 years experience driving measurable non-brand acquisition across the funnel from registrant to purchaser to advocate.
  • Finance/trading or other regulated industry experience.
  • Experience with content and editorial leadership across web, social, and video, including strategy setting, freelancer management, and creation of high-impact content.
  • SEO and AEO depth, skilled in technical, authority, and international SEO, CMS use, and LLM/AEO audits
  • Proven Data-driven optimisation with strong CRO and analytics capability, ability to design and run tests to improve conversion rates and separate brand versus non-brand funnels.
  • Experience with GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, YouTube Studio, Looker, and basic HTML, CSS, and JSON-LD.
