About the Role:

Ahern Australia is seeking an experienced and motivated Spare Parts Interpreter to join our dynamic aftermarket service team based at Wetherill Park. You will work in a small team taking responsibility for all spare parts functions and providing excellent customer service and support to our workshop and field services team and dealers.

Your responsibilities in this role will be:

  • Responsible for Parts Sales & the achievement of the spare parts budget
  • Engage with customers through various mediums
  • Developing effective parts solutions for both internal and external customers
  • Accurately manage inventory through our ERP system
  • Conduct stock-takes / cycle counts with a high level of accuracy
  • Receiving and dispatching of goods
  • Manage a small warehouse and stock and van stocks
  • Manage supply of parts to field service technicians

To be successful in this role you will need the following attributes:

  • Knowledge of parts related to EWP machinery or equivalent, usage and applications (desired but not essential)
  • Knowledge of parts related to agricultural equipment not essential but will be highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of parts applications
  • Ability to identify and exceed customer expectations
  • High regard for customer service as well as understand how this impacts on business
  • Strong time management with the ability to meet deadlines
