The purpose of this role is to provide account support and assistance in managing the client's business, public relations strategy and to keep day to day activities running smoothly. Implements PR programmes, creates plans, proposals, reports, creative briefs and other communication deliverables. Works collaboratively across the agency and within the Dentsu business to ensure clients receive the best integrated public relations and communications solutions for their business.

Senior Account Executive – Consumer Public Relations

About Us: We are thrilled to invite applications for the role of Senior Account Executive (SAE) with our Consumer Public Relations team at Dentsu Creative. Our national consumer PR team spans Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, with clients across tourism, insurance, gaming, entertainment and retail. Join us in delivering high-profile public relations and influencer campaigns within our Consumer pillar.

The Role: As our PR Senior Account Executive, you will support the day-to-day delivery of impactful campaigns. You should have a keen understanding of newsworthy content, be adept at developing story angles, understand the influencer landscape, and produce high-quality communication/PR materials with minimal editing required. Your familiarity with various media forms is essential.

Core Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in client account work, including executing activities, attending client meetings, managing trackers, and providing basic counsel on tactical matters.
• Prepare client-ready PR documents such as media releases, pitch notes and media lists.
• Demonstrate competence in a range of PR services including event management, internal communications, media relations, influencer engagement and social media.
• Build strong client relationships through onsite support and day-to-day communication.
• Assist with internal/external reporting activities: meeting notes, status reports, and results reporting.
• Oversee and advance workflow, collaborating across the agency to brief internal shared services, including creative and content development, digital, and social media.
• Maintain routine contact with key client stakeholders and regularly seek client feedback on team performance.
• Contribute original, innovative thinking for clients.
