ClearGlaze is currently seeking a reliable and practical Trades Assistant / Labourer to join our growing glazing team in Sydney. This role offers hands-on experience in a specialised trade, with a focus on teamwork, care, and attention to quality.

About the Role:

As a Trades Assistant / Labourer, you'll work with experienced glaziers to handle and install glass panels and framing systems. You'll help ensure smooth site operations and contribute to high-quality outcomes on every project.

Duties Include:

  • Assisting with lifting, moving, and installing glass panels and materials
  • Supporting tradespeople with tools, prep work, and job site setup
  • Maintaining a tidy and organised work environment
  • Following ClearGlaze procedures and sensible work practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in the construction industry (Sydney-based experience preferred)
  • Physically strong and fit – able to manage manual tasks as required
  • Good spatial awareness and attention to detail
  • White Card (Construction Induction) – mandatory
  • Responsible approach to tasks and working with others
  • Reliable, punctual and team-focused
  • Driver's licence and own transport preferred but not required
