Senior Insolvency Accountant | Mid-Tier Firm | Melbourne

Are you an experienced Insolvency Accountant looking to step up in your career with a respected mid-tier firm? This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team where you'll gain exposure across both corporate and personal insolvency matters, working closely with Partners and senior leaders in the industry.

The Role

As a Senior Insolvency Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of external administrations from start to finish, including:

  • Corporate insolvency matters such as
    Voluntary Administrations, CVLs, Court Liquidations, Receiverships, and SBRs
  • Personal insolvency appointments including
    Bankruptcies and Part Xs
  • Conducting investigations, asset realisation, and preparing statutory reports
  • Liaising directly with stakeholders including creditors, the ATO, legal advisors, and company directors
  • Supporting and mentoring junior staff, while reporting directly to Managers and Partners

About You

  • 2–5 years' experience in insolvency/restructuring (corporate and/or personal)
  • Management skills - Previous experience managing and training juniors
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, commercial mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities
