We're looking for an experienced Short Order Cook to help shape our brand-new café, featuring a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen and a unique opportunity to create and influence the menu.

About the Role:

As our Short Order Cook, you'll be responsible for whipping up delicious meals efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards. You'll work in a fast-paced, community-focused café, ensuring a smooth kitchen operation and great customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast and lunch menu items.
  • Work efficiently in a busy kitchen, ensuring fast service times.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
  • Assist with food prep, stock control and keeping the kitchen clean.
  • Collaborate with the café team to create a welcoming dining experience.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in short order or café cooking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong understanding of food safety regulations.
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Availability for flexible shifts, including mornings and weekends.
