Are you a Senior / Lead full-stack developer with excellent CoreJava skills looking for the next exciting project? Would you like to work in a growing company using new technologies? This role is either Contract or Full Time preferably located in Sydney or Melbourne

About you and what you will need:

  • A passion for quality code, accessibility, and maintainability, as well as excellent communication skills.

Server-side:

  • Strong Core Java 11+ in a jUnit testing context
  • jUnit, Mockito, wiremock, TDD & BDD
  • Spring Core/Web/Boot/Security
  • REST & Microservices
  • Strong knowledge of tooling & techniques like maven, git, refactoring, patterns
  • DevOps automation & UNIX (Not necessary but desirable)

Front-end Side:

  • Understanding of JavaScript and experience in working with SPAs and defining and building REST Services

Soft Skills:

  • Mentorship and Coaching: Guide and support junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
  • Solution-Focused Mindset: Proactively identify and provide effective solutions to complex technical challenges, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Effective Communication: Articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, enhancing collaboration and understanding.
  • Leadership: Lead by example, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Problem Solving: Utilise analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring smooth project progression

What you will be doing:

  • Developing & designing solutions using the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Microservices etc.
  • Writing clean and testable code in Java
  • Build reusable code and libraries and keep code clean
  • Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code
  • Sharing and building knowledge within the team and ensuring the team deliver success
