We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer for a leading IT consulting client in Sydney. You will be responsible for designing, coding and testing software applications to meet client requirements. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working on complex projects, taking ownership of the code and providing guidance to junior developers. Our client is a dynamic and growing consulting firm with a focus on delivering innovative digital solutions to leading banks, ASX -listed companies, and government agencies. Requirements • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Java development • 5+ years of experience in Java 8+ • 3+ years of experience in Microservice and familiar with Microservice patterns • 2+ years of hands -on development experience in AWS • 6+ months experience in Spring WebFlux or a clear understanding of Webflux with the ability to write Reactive services • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes etc... • Experience in multithreading, modularity of code, and de -coupling with APIs • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA • Excellent communication and collaboration skillsBenefits • Our emphasis on People Culture, including training • Our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
