Tweed Shire Council has a career opportunity for an Electrician, the role provides electrical maintenance, installation, breakdown response, diagnostic and repair services for Tweed Shire Council as required.
Work on a variety of assets and broaden your skills – assets include water and sewer pumping stations, treatment plants, reservoirs, building power and lighting, park lighting, data communication installation.
Occasionally the position may require the incumbent to be available for after hours emergency breakdown response service throughout the Shire. On these occasions you will be required to be contactable and be able to respond within a reasonable time.

We are seeking:
- Eligibility for NSW Electrical Trades Certificate and a NSW Electricians Licence.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current Australian Standards as applied to electrical work.
- Demonstrated competence in industrial and commercial electrical installation.
