Overview

Tweed Shire Council has a career opportunity for an Electrician. The role provides electrical maintenance, installation, breakdown response, diagnostic and repair services for Tweed Shire Council as required. You will work on a variety of assets and broaden your skills, including water and sewer pumping stations, treatment plants, reservoirs, building power and lighting, park lighting, and data communication installation. Occasional after-hours emergency breakdown response may be required; you will be contactable and able to respond within a reasonable time.

We are seeking

- Eligibility for NSW Electrical Trades Certificate and a NSW Electricians Licence
- Demonstrated knowledge of current Australian Standards as applied to electrical work
- Demonstrated competence in industrial and commercial electrical installation

Where it’s located

This position is based in Chinderah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
