About the Role in MUSWELLBROOK

WORKSHOP & MINE SITE BASED

UPPER HUNTER CANDIDATES ONLY CONSIDERED DUE TO TRAVEL FATIGUE REASONS.

We are currently seeking a Trades Assistant who possesses a practical hands on approach and excellent attention to detail for our Muswellbrook workshop.

  • Are you currently a Trades Assistant and need a career change?

Key duties will consist of, but will not be limited to

  • Assisting multiple trades, at onsite locations and within Tefol's workshop
  • Mechanical maintenance tasks under guidance
  • Deliveries and Pick-ups
  • Adapting to changing work requirements
  • Having excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrating a safety first work ethic and positive can-do attitude
  • A willingness to learn and grow through the business

The key team member we are looking for needs:

  • Physically fit and pass a Coal Board medical
  • Ability to assist with servicing vehicles, maintenance and welding
  • Availability to work overtime shifts
  • A current drivers licence (HR desirable)
  • Current mine site inductions and experience looked upon favourably, however is not essential.
  • A proven problem solving ability with strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • An awareness of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements
