About the Role

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, leading a team of employees and subcontractors to deliver civil projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader with strong technical and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about achieving excellent outcomes for clients, the team, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of internal employees and subcontractors to successfully execute daily project tasks.
  • Ensure all compliance requirements are met to maintain the safety, quality, and environmental standards of the project.
  • Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure correct execution.
  • Support the Site Supervisor to achieve project milestones and high-quality outcomes.
  • Continuously motivate your team to maintain high productivity and employee satisfaction.
  • Lead by example and uphold all Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards at all times.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Extensive civil construction experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Competence in all aspects of civil construction, including reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients.
  • Ability to work autonomously and perform under pressure.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Current Australian driver's licence.
