Summary:

The Casual Production Worker/Chemical Packer will operate machinery and equipment to manufacture products, inspect and pack finished products, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and perform other duties as assigned. This is a full-time position in the manufacturing, transport, and logistics industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery and equipment to manufacture products based on production schedules and specifications
  • Inspect, sort, and pack finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Perform quality checks, measure and record dimensions, and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and consistency
  • Move raw materials, finished products, and supplies around the plant using material handling equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
  • Report any equipment or safety issues to a supervisor immediately
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or the management team

Skills – Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • "Can Do Attitude"
  • Demonstrated Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be able to stand for long periods, lift and move heavy objects, and operate machinery
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Must be punctual and reliable
