The Opportunity:

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic
Legal Assistant
to join our Sydney CBD office on a
permanent full time basis
, assisting a Special Counsel and a Senior Associate with matters in Immigration Law. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about immigration law.
There will be potential for career progression within the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive file and document management
  • Providing high-level support to the team
  • Proactive handling of solicitor and client requests
  • Monitoring critical dates to ensure deadlines are met
  • Assisting with monthly invoicing
  • Regular client liaison
  • Coordination of police checks and translations
  • Immigration document drafting
  • File closing and archiving

Successful Candidates Will Have

  • A genuine interest and/or experience in Immigration Law (essential)
  • Relevant administrative experience in a professional firm (at least 12 months full-time equivalent)
  • Confidence in client and professional interactions
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication, organisational and file management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
