The Role and Duties

Supporting two senior fee earners and a small team within the Workers Compensation team, this role offers a blend of traditional Legal Assistant and Paralegal responsibilities.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Drafting and formatting contracts, correspondence, and legal documents
  • Managing diaries, emails, and meetings
  • Opening and closing files, running conflict checks, and maintaining accurate records
  • Expense management
  • Preparing briefs and court documents
  • Liaising directly with clients
  • Providing general administrative and team support
  • You may assist with Billing from time to time, however the team does have a dedicated Billing Assistant
About You

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • 12+ months experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant (in Insurance or Litigation)
  • Strong MS Office skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • A proactive and professional approach
  • A genuine desire for longevity in a support role (please note this position is not open to law students or recent graduates)
