Supervision: Recognising the significance of guidance and support, we ensure that our clinicians benefit from regular supervision sessions. These are conducted either weekly or fortnightly through face-to-face interactions, fostering a robust foundation for professional growth.

Your Role at Advantage Therapy:

As a Speech Pathologist, you will provide a mix of clinic-based, mobile, and Telehealth services to a sustainable caseload of children and adolescence with disability/developmental delay. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and families to support your clients to achieve functional goals and develop holistically.

What We are Looking for:

  • A paediatric SP with minimum 1 year of experience. Experience in working with children with a disability, behaviours of concern, and/or complex needs highly preferred.
  • Solid foundation on NDIS and report writing.
  • Strong alignment to positive, collaborative, outcome-oriented team culture, with the ability to adapt to changes.
  • Supports family-centred, evidence-based practice, and the value of multi-/trans-disciplinary approach and functional goal setting
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, including ability to navigate difficult conversations
  • Interested in progression pathways and investing in the team long term

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Accredited Qualification in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certified Practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) Board
  • Working with Children Check
  • The right to work in Australia
