Supervision: Recognising the significance of guidance and support, we ensure that our clinicians benefit from regular supervision sessions. These are conducted either weekly or fortnightly through face-to-face interactions, fostering a robust foundation for professional growth.
Your Role at Advantage Therapy:
As a Speech Pathologist, you will provide a mix of clinic-based, mobile, and Telehealth services to a sustainable caseload of children and adolescence with disability/developmental delay. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and families to support your clients to achieve functional goals and develop holistically.
What We are Looking for:
- A paediatric SP with minimum 1 year of experience. Experience in working with children with a disability, behaviours of concern, and/or complex needs highly preferred.
- Solid foundation on NDIS and report writing.
- Strong alignment to positive, collaborative, outcome-oriented team culture, with the ability to adapt to changes.
- Supports family-centred, evidence-based practice, and the value of multi-/trans-disciplinary approach and functional goal setting
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, including ability to navigate difficult conversations
- Interested in progression pathways and investing in the team long term
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Accredited Qualification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certified Practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) Board
- Working with Children Check
- The right to work in Australia
