About You:

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated Speech Pathologist who is excited to contribute to the growth and development of children. Whether you're just starting your career or have a few years of experience, you'll need to have:

  • A degree in Speech Pathology (Bachelor's or Master's).
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
  • A Working With Children Check
  • A driver's license and access to a car for mobile therapy.
  • A passion for supporting children in reaching their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • A commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality therapy: Deliver exceptional speech pathology services to children, both through mobile and clinic-based sessions, ensuring each child receives tailored and effective care.
  • Conduct assessments: Perform thorough assessments to understand each child's unique needs and develop individualized therapy plans that support their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with families and professionals: Work closely with families, schools, and other health professionals to ensure a holistic and supportive approach to therapy, creating a well-rounded plan for each child.
  • Maintain documentation: Keep accurate, up-to-date records of therapy sessions, progress, and client feedback to track improvements and ensure continuity of care.
  • Contribute to team culture: Participate in team meetings, sharing knowledge, insights, and experiences to foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Ongoing professional development: Engage in continuous learning and attend supervision sessions to enhance your clinical skills and stay current with the latest best practices in paediatric speech pathology.
