As Security Program Manager, Australia based in our HQ in Sydney or Melbourne, you will report to the Director, Security and work closely with various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region, making your mark in a number of ways:
Build a strong security culture in Australia and other designated locations by advising on security operations, security government compliance, security designs and security system reviews.Drive the implementation of global and local security standards to ensure AirTrunk data centres, property and personnel maintain a high level of security.Implement industry-leading security measures that will lead to successful customer relations and business outcomes.Your Day to Day
Documenting and implementing operational security requirements for data centres and corporate offices in Australia and other designated locations.Developing security design standards for data centres and corporate offices in Australia and other designated locations.Maintaining security operations and physical security designs compliance with local government security regulation and external certification standards.Become the Security Officer for AirTrunks DISP program and lead physical security compliance for other Australian Government requirements.Overseeing and supporting the management of security guarding and security systems vendors in Australia.Reviewing physical and electronic security designs for data centres and corporate offices in Australia and other designated locations.Supporting the security threat, vulnerability and risk assessment process for data centres in Australia and other designated locations.Project managing large-scale security upgrades on operational data centres in base building areas.Liaising with customer local and regional security teams to resolve security matters/incidents and negotiate successful contract resolution.Inspecting security installations at data centres and corporate offices in Australia and other designated locations for compliance with AirTrunk and AirTrunk customer security standards.Supporting the commissioning and testing of AirTrunk data centres in Australia and other designated locations.Auditing of security arrangements at data centres and corporate offices against AirTrunk, government and customer standards to maintain appropriate compliance.Supporting the local data centre operations teams with suitable construction management security planning and processes.Reviewing, analysing and updating AirTrunk and our customers security policies, procedures, standards, training material and plans as required.Reviewing and responding to security related elements of customer RFPs, contracts, questionnaires and other request for our Australian data centres and other designated locations.Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships across all sites in Australia.Attend, engage and collaborate in customer and security team meetings.Assist with presentations to customers and collaborate with customers, vendors and suppliers to achieve security outcomes.Provide security training, mentoring and coaching to data centre and corporate office security teams as required.Requirements
5+years in a security role with experience with security operations and high security facilities, preferably data centres.NV1 security clearance and experience as a DISP Security Officer and/or other relevant Australian Government compliance and regulations.Tertiary and/or industry qualifications in security or a related field.Proven experience in the development and implementation of security operations planning and security system designs.Security auditing and inspection experience both internally and of third parties.In-depth knowledge of risk management strategies and processes, including security threat vulnerability risk assessment.Competent written, verbal and data presentation skills in English.Well-developed communication, collaboration, influence and conflict resolution skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced changing environment and work effectively in a team environment.An understanding of and experience implemented local Australian building code security requirements and other security standards/regulations impacting data centres in region.Experience influencing security teams, management, and contractors.Ability and flexibility to travel across Australia and as required to other locations across APJ region.
