About the Role:

Join a leading security team on a high-profile government project based in Keilor. We are seeking experienced, professional Security Guards for regular Monday to Friday shifts, with some evenings and weekends. This is a casual role offering above award rates for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide security services on a major government project site
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, contractors, and visitors
  • Conduct patrols, access control, and incident response
  • Travel to other sites within the western region as required

  • Living Away From Home Allowance (LAFA)
  • Regular ongoing work Monday to Friday with some evenings and weekends

Requirements:

  • Current and unrestricted Security Guard Licence (Victoria) - must be valid for duration of employment
  • Minimum 5+ years' security experience in highly complex environments
  • In-depth training and understanding of the Use of Force model
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Batons and Handcuffs accreditation
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Valid Police Check (issued within last 12 months or willing to obtain)
  • Government or policing background highly regarded
  • Willingness to travel to multiple sites in the western region
  • Professional presentation and strong communication skills
  • Certificate II in Security Operations (or equivalent qualification)
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
