We are unique as we are a multidisciplinary business with electricians, mechanical fitters, metal fabricators, automation technicians, instrumentation technicians,  communications technicians , and engineers.

We are based north of Adelaide in Gawler with a small team south of Adelaide

You will have opportunities to be able to work away with LAHA and bigger  hour days if you would like. This is not an obligation.

Causal position, fulltime position for the right candidate after 3-6 months.

Apprentices 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year encouraged to apply.

About the role

You will be required to:

  • Undertake fabrication projects
  • Welding of all different types
  • Undertake mechanical fitting projects
  • Work with a team of different trade backgrounds
  • Be flexible and undertake wide range of work
  • Provide mechanical/fabrication coverage for our clients on varying shifts (Dayshift, afternoon shift, and some nightshift)
  • Work within a team environment
  • Have a can-do attitude and passion for the industry

Skills and experience

  • Trade Qualified -  Boilermaker Certificate 3
  • Driver's License
  • Strong focus on safety
  • Can do attitude
  • Self motivated
  • Experience in fast pace FMCG facilities
  • Exceptional fault-finding skills
  • Able to read and interpret drawings
  • Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance on all machinery
  • Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance on conveyor systems
  • Great communication skills with peers and clients
  • Proven experience within mechanical fitting
  • Able to use smart phone devices

During the interview process you will be asked a series of question in regards to your trade knowledge and experience. You also may be asked to perform practical tests.
