About the opportunity
Reporting to the MJH Group CEO, you will lead with vision and purpose, driving exceptional growth and operational efficiency aligned with company objectives. By leveraging market insights, cutting-edge sales strategies, and a deep understanding of customer needs, you will position McDonald Jones Homes as the trusted leader in the new home market in NSW/ACT. More specifically, you will:
- Manage key customer relationships and execute major sales transactions across the state whilst developing and executing market development plans
- Develop and maintain deep, trusted relationships with clients, industry partners, and key stakeholders
- Track and monitor effectiveness of sales teams, and deliver against key metrics such as sales KPIs and customer satisfaction scores
- Develop the budget, and regularly report actual performance to budget, with variance analysis and revised projections
- Partner closely with marketing, product, operations, service, and customer experience teams to ensure alignment across all stages of the sales process
- Contribute to integrated planning, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives to drive and enhance performance
- Produce sales reports, analyse sales trends and forecast future sales growth
- Inspire, coordinate, and drive the performance of the team directly or via regional Sales Managers and elevate performance through mentoring, inspiring and coaching
- Build and maintain relationships with land developers to ensure sales opportunities are realised
- Collaborate closely with NEX and MJH leaders at all levels
About you
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- 5+ years' experience managing a high performing sales team
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or similar
- Effective strategic planning and operational execution abilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to drive change
- Strong focus on data driven decision making
- Customer centric approach
- A commitment to holding yourself and others accountable
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ideally with exposure to new home sales, and/or related sectors
